Local vets the Oakfield Group have put together a stunning cut-price pet food offer now available to anyone who uses their online store.

It's all part of a pledge to help pet owners weather the current economic pressures and get the best deal possible for their pets. Oakfield Senior Partner John Ambler explained, 'We know how much people love their pets, but there's no denying that at the moment, retail prices are hitting everyone hard. That's why we have introduced this new online service which allows pet owners to order cost price food via our website - an offer that could literally save some families hundreds of pounds a year."

The surgeries in Atherstone, Castle Bromwich and Tamworth are also inviting their customers to spread the cost of pet healthcare by enrolling in an easy-pay plan. "It's basically a membership programme which provides a series of regular and routine treatments for free, and discounts on a range of others," said John Ambler.

"We have had a very positive response to this offer which allows pet owners to pay for treatments over a whole year, so we are now extending it and inviting new customers to Oakfield to join for as little as £2.90 per month.

"Hopefully this will take some of the worry out of caring for pets at a time when cutbacks are rife and saving money is so important."
